Temple Emanuel of Baltimore Temple Emanuel of Baltimore

Overview

Temple Emanuel is a Reform synagogue dedicated to the celebration of Jewish faith, thought and culture. We are committed to the worship of God, the study of our tradition and the translation of our beliefs into deeds of conscience. For over fifty years our congregation has welcomed individuals and families who have enjoyed and been enriched by our synagogue's combination of intimacy and integrity. We are a committed group of individuals who welcome newcomers - so that all can quickly become a part of our caring congregation.

DAI (Enough) by Iris Bahr (5/12/08)

Currently running Off-Broadway, this award-winning, one-woman show comes to Baltimore for one night only!

Monday, May 12, 8:00pm at the Gordon Center
$25.00 for Temple Emanuel Members

Dai transports us into a bustling Tel Aviv cafe, just moments before a suicide bomber enters. With razor sharp insight, Iris Bahr brings to life members of all strata of Israeli society, as well as its observers and critics, in what are to be their final moments. DAI is ultimately an exploration of Israel's human dimensions, how lives are touched by the conflict and the internal ideological turmoil in Israeli society today - a society that manages to sustain its humor and love for life despite the tragic existential crisis in which both sides find themselves."

Updated Shabbat Sermon

Cemetery Arrangements

The loss of a family member is difficult to bear. The burden is greater for loved ones when they must make hasty decisions about choosing burial plots. Give yourself and your loved ones peace of mind by making those decisions in advance.

Baltimore Hebrew Congregation and Temple Oheb Shalom have offered members here burial privileges at their locations on Berrymans Lane, Belair Road (BHC), and O'Donnell Street (TOS). They are offering plots to Temple Emanuel members at member costs.

If you are interested in obtaining additional information or pricing, please contact Jo Ann at Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, (410) 764-1587, ext. 223 or Jesse Harris at Temple Oheb Shalom, (410) 358-0105.
